How we rank: five lists, one score
Every ranking on this site can be checked. This is how.
1. The sources. We read five public lists: the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows of 2024, 2025 and 2026, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover models, the Victoria's Secret model list, FHM's 100 Sexiest Women and People's Sexiest Man Alive. The most recent shows count more than older ones.
2. The score. Each time a person is named in a list she or he earns points. The total is the score. Two names that appear in five lists beat a name that appears in one, even a famous one.
3. The tie-break. Same score? The person more looked up on Wikipedia this week goes first.
4. The filter. Only adults, born 1975 or later, who work in entertainment, modelling, sport or music. We drop anyone known for politics, business or crime, and anyone who has died.
5. The proof. Under every name is the list of sources with the article, the date and the figure. If a source is wrong, tell us and we correct it.
6. The numbers. Computers read the pages and count. Humans choose the sources. No AI writes a figure or picks a winner.
Everything is recalculated every night. Start with the top: [hottest women](/hottestwomenintheworld), [hottest men](/hottestmenintheworld), [hottest models](/hottestmodelsintheworld).
